Pastor Eric Minter

Eric has been preaching since he was 17 years old. He is ordained with the Assemblies of God. He began his ministry in the Church of God of Prophecy and held pastorates in Kimball, TN and Trion, GA with that denomination. He was also an associate pastor at what is now Central Community Church in Chatsworth, GA. Eric was a school teacher for 12 years in Murray and Whitfield Counties. He married Linda in 1994 and they have two sons, Samuel (2002) and David (2004). They moved to Whitfield County in 2006 to start The Sanctuary and began weekly services in February of 2007 at New Hope Elementary.

Ken Wiggins

Ken married Cindy in 1984 and was ordained in 1995. They have two children, Lindsey (1989) and Eric (1992). He has been a youth pastor in Phenix City, AL and Albany, GA. He was an associate pastor in Berwick, PA and pastored in Wilkes-Barre, PA and here in Dalton before coming to The Sanctuary. He has also been the Supervisor of Safety and Security for Dalton Public Schools and currently teaches at Dalton High School. He holds a bachelors degree from Columbus State University and a masters from Walden University.
Karla Newport

Karla has been involved in ministry to children for the last 25 years. She uses music, Bible stories, puppets, and many other tools to relate the gospel to children. Karla has been active on short-term missions trips every year since 2000 by taking VBS and puppet ministry the children of the nations of Ghana , Honduras , Ukraine , Siberia, and Greece , as well as crusades in many parts of the U.S.
